Segment 1: The guys are live from the Spartan Studios as they start off the show by talking to Scott Newman-Bale from Shorts Brewing Company about the upcoming 3rd Annual Detroit Fall Beer Festival. Scott also gives the guys some brews that would go well with the upcoming fall season.

Segment 2: BBQ Bob gives the audience a new device called the “Son of Hibachi” that makes your grilling tailgate experience quicker. The guys also give out some handy portable grills that will help make your tailgating experience better.

Segment 4: The guys talk to “T-Guid” (Keith Guidry) of the Percy Guidry Company in Lafayette, Louisiana about what people down in Cajun country like grill-up during tailgating season, especially when it comes to grilling oysters!

Segment 5: The guys talk to Mike Peters of the Kansas City Barbecue Society (as well as the Great American Barbecue Tour) about what is going on during his tour, as well as the level of competition that occurs during his stops. BBQ Bob also offers the audience Charlie Jabour’s famous Shish kabob with a little twist to it.

Segment 6: The guys talk to Perry Beal of The Good One Championship BBQ team about “The Three Little Pigs” sauces and explains why they are different (in a good way) from the competition. Perry also gives the guys the story about how the sauces were named “The Three Little Pigs.”

Segment 7: The guys talk to Danny Skiff, a Cowboy Texas tailgater, about the favorite kinds of foods that he likes to tailgate. Danny also talks about how to cook Skirt Steak and Venison the right way Texas style! BBQ Bob also tells the listeners about a device called the TEC Cherokee.

Segment 8: BBQ Bob talks about the Grill Stone, which is an outdoor grill that can be used to make pizzas, cookies, or breads outdoors, and BBQ Bob REALLY recommends that everyone get one when it comes to cooking pizzas!

Segment 9: The guys talk to Merl from Al & Bob’s Sports about what has been going on in the business lately, such as bow hunting season about to take its course soon. Merl also talks about the Big Buck Contest that is about to get underway courtesy of WBBL. Jop also gives out some love to all of the state college and pro football players that are playing this weekend.

Segment 10: BBQ Bob offers the listeners a spicy Goose or Turkey Jerky recipe that will help “tone down the wildness” of the animal by using a certain marinade and slow-cooking it. BBQ Bob also gives another “Man Law” on ESPN being only used for sports ONLY! Games like bowling and pool should not be shown on this channel. The guys also wrap-up the show by giving some Michigan Wine and Beer Industry facts that makes the state one of the top alcohol producers and sellers in the country!
