We’re on the move and spreading our wings! Llisten to The Grillin’ Guys show from April 14th, 2012!
Segment 1: The guys are live from Dark Horse Brewery in Marshall, Michigan as they start the show off by talking to Travis Glenn from the Dark Horse Brewery about the “Spring Smoke Off” happening today. Travis also talks about some seasonal beers available at his brewery right now.

Segment 2: BBQ Bob talks about his “grilling save” that he endured during his vacation in Florida. BBQ Bob also talks about some Smokey Joe Ribs he did as well while in Florida. The guys also talk to Brian Wiggs, who is a brewer at the Dark Horse brewery.

Segment 3: The guys wrap up their conversation with brewer Brian Wiggs. The guys then talk to Billy Bones, the famous sauces and rubs creator, about some Memphis-style barbecue and why it is so historical.

Segment 4: The guys talk about some grilling safety and how not to make an idiot of your self when grilling for other people. The guys then bring in special guest host Shasta Fase from the Old World Olive Press to talk about safety when adding oil and vinegars to your food.

Segment 5: The guys talk to David Braganini from St. Julian Winery about his winery and what makes it so successful. David also talks about some wines he brought to the guys at the Dark Horse, as well as what wines go well with certain foods.

Segment 6: The guys talk to David Braganini more about some of the wines that he brought to the guys today. The guys also talk about some of the best wines available in Michigan right now.

Segment 7: The guys talk to Colin Jacobs from the Flat River Grill in Lowell, Michigan about a beer tasting party coming up on the first of May. Colin also talks about properly marinating a steak on the grill, as well as talking about his Porterhouse steak at the restaurant. The guys also dive into more steak, such as the Hanger Steak, and what marinades go well with it.

Segment 8: BBQ Bob talks about a Grilled Apple BLT recipe that he had from Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee. The guys also break down a trick you can do with Pork Loins. BBQ Bob also gives another “Man Law” on men having strong bladders on road trips. The show then wraps up with a tribute to The Grillin’ Guys being on the Michigan Talk Network for the first time with a song by Guns N’ Roses called, “Welcome to the Jungle.”
