  1. The best beer I’ve ever had is Lancaster (PA) Brewery’s Milk Stout. Sadly, distribution is very limited.

    1. I have never heard of it, but love Stouts. I’ll keep it in mind as I do get there once a year. Thanks.

  2. Favorite Beer….tough call because we are surrounded by so many fine crafted microbrews in the greater Grand Rapids area. My guilty pleasure when I am grilling is Troeg’s Rugged Trail Nut Brown Ale, bottled in Harrisburg PA. I like the combination of a charcoal grilled steak and a hearty brew like a full flavored nut brown ale. My favorite local microbrew is Bell’s and their Stout is usually my beer of choice.

    1. Another great full-flavored and full-bodied local microbrew that I enjoy while I’m cooking in the back yard is Founder’s Breakfast Stout. Breakfast Stout is a little heavier than Bell’s Kalamazoo Stout but I have found that you can’t go wrong with either!
