That’s right. Time for WLAV’s 5th Annual Dam to Dam Ice Fishing Tournament. It happens at Croton Pond at the Driftwood Inn.
The Grillin’ Guys will be there broadcasting live Saturday morning from 9-11 thanks to the good folks at Al & Bob Sports. Al & Bob’s is donating some great prizes so make sure you see The Grillin’ Guys before you get started. Then we are going to catch some fish and put them on our big Good One Grill for everyone to sample. If we get skunked, we will still have some Grillin’ Guys sausage and venison jerky hot off the smoker.
It starts Friday night at the Driftwood Inn with Grand Rapids own “The Outer Vibe” band at 9:30.
This contest is an annual event to benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Newaygo County.
It is held on Michigan’s DNR “Free Fishing Weekend’ (No Fishing License Required) in February of each year.
In 2010 this amazing event raised over $7500 for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Newaygo County: This year, we will raise even more money, have more fun, and give away even more prizes at the 5th Annual Dam to Dam Ice Fishing Contest!
