Summer is hot, hot, hot! And so are the Grillin’ Guys! Listen to The Grillin’ Guys show from June 30th 2012!
Segment 1: The guys are live from the Michigan Talk Network Studios as they start the show off by talking to Meat Broker Bob Dubisky about the grades of meat in a butcher shop.

Segment 2: The guys talk to Steve and Jeff Guikema from the Hudsonville Winery and Pike 51 Brewing Company about what kinds of brews and wines they have at their facilities.

Segment 3: The guys dive into some grilling gadgets, such as the “Thermapen” when cooking your meat to the right temperature and figuring out the right temperature on your grill. The guys also go into a “Safe Grill” application that you can get on your cell phones (especially I-Phone users).

Segment 4: The guys talk to Dianna Stampfler from Promote Michigan about Michigan Craft Beer Month in July, as well as some other events coming up in the state in the next few months. The guys talk to Sergeant Thomas Lindsley about the Operation Injured Soldiers outing coming up in Dorr, Michigan next Saturday.

Segment 5: Jop gives the audience a little Independence Day history and why we have our freedom. The guys also dive into some grill grates and which kinds are good for certain meats.

Segment 6: The guys talk about some 4th of July foods, such as some finger foods like Firecracker Grilled Shrimp and a Grilled Watermelon Salad.

Segment 7: The guys talk to Ann Vidro from Michigan Titanium about a pre-training run going on next weekend and a triathlon in early August at Versluis Park. The guys also dive into some grilling safety, which is crucial for the 4th of July holiday.

Segment 8: BBQ Bob dives into some Designer Burgers, such as Gourmet Burgers that you can stuff cheese and other ingredients inside the meat! BBQ Bob also gives out another “Man Law” about finding extra pieces in your assembly. The show then wraps up with a tribute to the 4th of July holiday and our freedom with a song by Lee Greenwood called, “God Bless the USA.”
