Dudes are at the World Series of Barbecue! Listen to The Grillin’ Guys show for October 6th 2012!
Segment 1: The guys are live from Kansas City, Missouri at the World Series of Barbeque inside the Kemper Arena as they start the show off by talking to Todd Johns from Plowboys Barbecue Team about what he is all about.
Segment 2: The guys talk to Dennis Keck from Four Smokin’ Butts Barbeque Team in Illinois about what they are all about.
Segment 3: The guys set the scene in Kansas City as to what is going on today at the Crown Royal.
Segment 4: The guys talk to Public Relations Director Jennifer Brand about the event going on at the Crown Royal. BBQ Bob also talks to “Dr. Barbecue,” Ray Lampe, about what he is preparing at the World Series of Barbecue.
Segment 5: BBQ Bob brings back in Travis Fritts about his business and how it is competing across the country. Travis also brought in some treats to share with Bob. BBQ Bob also tells a hunting story.
Segment 6: The guys talk to Chris Marks from the Ace of Hearts Championship Barbecue Team about what he has been grilling and doing at the event this week.
Segment 7: The guys talk to Ed Reilly from Atlanta, Georgia, who has the largest collection of antique grills in the country.
Segment 8: The guys talk to Jim McCullogh from the Wabash Barbecue Team about what he has been grilling up, especially his brisket.
Segment 9: The guys talk to a guy named Andy about his “Tap-a-Cue” device. The guys also talk to radio personality Jasper from Jasper’s Restaurant about the festivities going on down there. BBQ Bob also gives out another “Man Law” on man putting his family first. The show then wraps up with a tribute to Kansas City with a song by Fats Domino called, “Kansas City.”
