• Progresso Bread Crumbs
• 1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms
• 1 pound ground sausage
• 8 ounces cream cheese
• 1/4 cup diced onion
Use some old muffin tins
- Leave the cream cheese on the counter for at least one hour before use.
- Pull out the stems from large white mushrooms chop finely. Food processor is great.
- Brown your sausage, drain, and cool.
- Blend onion, cream cheese, stems, and sausage in a medium mixing bowl. Scoop out about a tablespoon at a time and stuff mushrooms. Place each mushroom in muffin tin after stuffed.
- When you get all mushrooms in tins, hit the entire batch with your favorite seasoning blend. Then cover nicely with bread crumbs.
- Place on offset grill or smoker at 275℃ for at least a half hour.
