Stuffed Mushrooms

• Progresso Bread Crumbs
• 1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms
• 1 pound ground sausage
• 8 ounces cream cheese
• 1/4 cup diced onion

Use some old muffin tins

  1. Leave the cream cheese on the counter for at least one hour before use.
  2. Pull out the stems from large white mushrooms chop finely. Food processor is great.
  3. Brown your sausage, drain, and cool.
  4. Blend onion, cream cheese, stems, and sausage in a medium mixing bowl. Scoop out about a tablespoon at a time and stuff mushrooms. Place each mushroom in muffin tin after stuffed.
  5. When you get all mushrooms in tins, hit the entire batch with your favorite seasoning blend. Then cover nicely with bread crumbs.
  6. Place on offset grill or smoker at 275℃ for at least a half hour.

Bake until your desired doneness.
